The Design Process

Step 1: Book in
Choose from one of my Design Packages available or contact me to create a customised package more suitable for your needs. A start date and estimated time of completion is discussed and 50% deposit will be required to schedule you in.

Step 2: Design Brief
I will collect information about your business, it’s services/products, your target audience and gain an understanding of your design project through a questionnaire.

Step 3: Research
I will research your market type, and competition to gain a better understanding of the industry you are in. I will also do visual research and look for design inspiration.

Step 4: Design work begins
Time to get creative. I will get started on some concepts, working closely with the design brief and research. This may include rough sketches on paper or sketches on my computer.  I will then send these through to you via email for your feedback.

Step 5: Revisions
Based off your feedback I will revise the concept further. This process can take some time going back and forth and tweaking the design until we are both happy with it.

Step 6: Finalise and balance payment
Once you are happy with the design and it has been finalised, the remaining 50% deposit is to be paid.

Step 7: Sending you your design files
I will provide you with your logo/design in a range of formats. For logo design I will provide a logo-guideline as well as the original logo vector file so the logo can be scaled to any size without loss of quality.

Step 8: On-going Relationship
After the project has come to an end, I am always here to assist and help you should you have any questions. I love building on-going relationships.
